I guess nobody noticed, if you go to http://www.meetearl.com/updates/ 
and read down a bit, you'll see that they are
likely to have Part 97 suitability at maybe 2 watts on 2M and 70cM with 
an SMA connector. This will run Android
and be around US$300.00
