That is not the purpose or function of the APRS network.  APRS is a
communication network for distributing real-time communications and
information among ham operators.  It is not a vehicle tracking network.
Position reporting is only so you know where someone is which is an
important communications parameter to VHF communications and situational
awareness.

If you want good tracking, use your GPS or other device logging feature
and then you can play it back at whatever accuracy you want.  The purpose
of Smart Beaconing is NOT to provide accurate tracks on the APRS network.

The purpose of Smart beaconing is to share the network with everyone else
by actually reducing your packet quantity, but making up for it with
"smart" quality so that the more widely spaced reports are made at the
best locations.
