Drats. What I wanted to do was put this chip in a pill bottle with whip
antenna on it and then plug that into the audio connector on top of these
GREEN RADIOS (The Vietnam era VHF radios) that we use on 51.00 MHz
wideband FM. By adding this tiny receiver, then we could put up cross
band repeaters and vastly extend the range.
No one wants to make any internal mods to these antique radios, so the
idea of a little green nodule (RFM chip) at the base of the antenna to
receive the repeater output had appeal.
I bet there are similar chips for analog service, its just that this is
not the one...
