Be careful with "high powered" (in this case greater than license free
ISM) devices.  In my limited RC flying I had serious control problems
caused by an ATV transmitter (exact power level unknown, probably 1 to
2.5 W), and had an anomaly resulting in major airframe damage caused
by interference between a 1W spread spectrum radio.  In both cases the
RC receiver was a respected brand in the RC community, but could not
handle what hams would consider a normal RF environment.
