Ha! Your first goof this year?

YeahBut - - sure works great. I don't have a 710 - I run the 700 as a digi in the vehicle, set my D72 on low power, and get its advantages of smart beaconing, etc., through the standalone digi. Works great, but leaves two tracks which is ok for me. The extra transmissions may irritate some people, however.

Oops.  My bad!  My eyes were reading
      digits that weren't there.

And the drawback with the D700 is that the digipeater functions
are only programmable via the TNC port, not via the menu system.

              Are you thinking D72? I don't think a D7 will but I use my
D700 as a standalone fill-in digi. Would like to use my
              old D7 also if possible - -
