I don't have a 710 - I run the 700 as a digi in the vehicle, set my D72 on low power, and get its advantages of smart beaconing, etc., through the standalone digi. Are you thinking D72? I don't think a D7 will but I use my
D700 as a standalone fill-in digi. Would like to use my
