Chuck,
My max resolution is 1280x800 and I am already set at that.  I can't go any higher.
I dabble in VB.net and I have found that placing buttons side by side helps with things like this.  Also, you can have the window autosize to sometimes avoid this problem.
Just a suggestion.
I have no idea what you are writing this in, but I have some KISS decoding routines I wrote in VB.net that I would be willing to share.  I'm sure my method is a bit unorthodox, but it does work.

I don't know why this makes a difference, but the reason you are seeing that is because the DPI for your display is too low. You are the third person to report this. The fix is to set the DPI for your display to a higher number. In my case, the next available setting was 120 DPI.

This fixed it for all that have reported this. Again, I have no idea why this happens as I have set nothing in the program that is related to this.

To make the adjustment:

o Right-click on the desktop
o Choose Properties

o Select the Settings tab
o Click the Advanced button

o Change the DPI setting to something larger until things look right.
As for the TNC interface, I am open to that. I started with the soundcard approach because it is what I use and it is very easy to use the program with just a computer and a receiver of some kind. But having a KISS interface is not unreasonable.

I only had enough time to load and start it up.  Right off the bat I am having trouble with the pop-up windows.  Instead of the buttons being side by side, they are over/under and the bottom buttons are consistently hidden.  The window is not re-sizing to allow them to be seen.  On a few, I could just get my mouse pointer on the top one or two rows of exposed pixels to close the window.

Are there any plans to support KISS input?  I really hate the soundcard modems and prefer a tried and trusted KISS modem like a TNC-X or Tracker2 for the hardware side.  One less thing to crash.

I have written a windows client to make it easy to use APRS telemetry. I'm looking for the first wave of users to bang on it and find the bugs I haven't.

The program is free and there are no plans for it to be any other way.




APRS-TW (APRS - Telemetry Watcher) monitors APRS traffic for telemetry packets, displays the information from each unit, and will alert the operator if specific conditions exist. The operator can then focus attention on other activities but still have “situational awareness” of the monitored units without having to constantly monitor a stream of raw data and watch for telemetry data.







It uses the AGW or UZ7HO soundcard driver.
