Mine still works just fine. Probably need to let it sit and percolate
overnight until it receives the current ephemeris data from the satellites.
Then cycle the power and try again. Sometimes these units simply refuse to
update and are, at that point, essentially nice paperweights...

The Garmin GPS-30 is an exterior cigarette pack sized rectangular
streamlined GPS Antenna unit.
Found two of them in my junk drawer from a decade ago.
Been on for an hour. No fix. Manual gives no hints. Says it should search
the sky.
Maybe something changed in 10 years and they will never work again?
Anyone have experience with these?
