[aprssig] Vehicle Signatures

Crazy idea for sure...  BUT  I'm thinkin' you wouldn't need a road sensor with the kind of garbage they must be spewing.  KW of PWM.

A motor I designed was a 350 W (1/2 HP) DC Brishless and without any line filter it destroyed any AM radio reception around. Of course if these cars have an AM radio they must be doing some RFI stuff....
  So it'll take some measuring.  The Volt owner would certainly be willing to investigate this - he's a ham.
