The T2-301 and T3-301 have some scripting capabilities that would let 
you do this - switch automatically to another frequency (and maybe a 
different beacon rate to save power) for different geographic zones. 
The zones are restricted to rectangles aligned with the meridians, but 
the number of zones is limited only by script storage space and I can't 
imagine that you'd need more than about six for this sort of thing.
