[aprssig] GPS interference?

The 350 is well known to have a flaky GPS receiver. I went through two bad ones before getting the one I use now. Just Google search nuvi 350 searching for satellites. There is plenty out there with this problem. The main problem is the external antenna switch. There is a well known mod to fix that.

To my knowledge, the Nuvi 350 only has one battery. I'd suspect the
wires between the antenna and the logic board, if you open and close
the antenna a lot. The one I use typically has to be powered on, then
power cycled in order to find satellites. The second power up cycle,
it finds the birds almost immediately.
