[aprssig] GPS interference in NW NM

Since we recently had a discussion of GPS interference, here's another data point.

Through an unusual turn of events, I currently have THREE GPS receivers in my truck -- all Garmins. I have a GPS V which feeds my HamHUD, and six months ago I bought a 465T for the trucking features. I liked it so much that just last week I bought a 560LMT for the larger display.

I went through Bloomfield, NM and Aztec, NM tonight on US 550. From a point about 10 miles southeast of Bloomfield all the way to just north if the Colorado state line, the GPS V and the 465T lost all satellite signals and regained them numerous times. The 560LMT worked just fine the whole time. I don't have any idea what caused any of this.

Anybody know of new cell phone towers, wireless broadband internet or something in this area? Or anything else?

I have to go back the same road tomorrow, guess we'll see if it happens again.
