Just wanted to clarify, my passionate rant is focused on VHF (144.390)
operations in the USA, where there is a lot of activity. There are many
special cases, from aircraft to balloons to I-S.S. and the Golden Packet
event that have different purposes and methods, all using APRS. There is no
one goal, other than for people to communicate.
