Another UNIX platform igate+digi software with a bit more features:

  http://ham.zmailer.org/oh2mqk/aprx/

Now it can do Tx-IGate with rules listed at:
  http://www.aprs-is.net/IGateDetails.aspx

There is also support for FLEXNET KISS radio modems.

To understand how to configure it, please start by reading
thru the aprx-manual.pdf in that same directory.

Recent tests show that all tracking databases needed
for Tx-IGate are growing the runtime memory footprint
to around 2.0 MB. It may grow a bit more when traffic
in the area has more stations.

My guess is that it will stay below 3.0 MB.

This really is designed to be resource conserving one
working in very small memory footprints, like when there
is only 8 MB RAM. This one should be usable even on
uCLinux systems - small embedded ones without MMU.
I prefer 16 MB for uCLinux, ymmv...

Platform side needs standard libc development environment
and ANSI-C compiler. No other libraries than those in
libc. (pthreads is supported, if available)

UNIXes known to work:
  - Linux
  - *BSD*
  - Apple OS/X
  - Solaris

Supports all POSIX serial ports (classical and USB ones).
In case of USB serial port has a hickup, disappears and
reappears, this will automatically close and reopen it.

On Linux there is also support for internal AX.25 network
with built-in interface library.
