Yes, and when traveling in Europe, ones phone is forever going off as it
changes from network to network (roaming) getting welcome messages.
It's a right royal pain! And it cost's too!
Nice idea for APRS though, if it could be made to work, reliably. I
suspect it'd need some smart software somewhere to keep tabs on what was
sent, to who and when, so you don't annoy the luckless traveler with
information overload. Especially D7 users.
