[aprssig] Hamfest and Local info

The sys op programs the Digi to put out an object located at the appropriate lat/lon.  This requires either remote programming capability or a trip to the digi (as I understand it)

Because that is just one symptom of the problem.  The problem is that if no one is even interested enough in APRS in an area to push a HFEST object, then that means local meetings, events and ham activites are also being ignored.

THAT is the problem, that no one in an area is investing in INFO Serving the local area...

ANother way to push this issue, might be to query the ARRL Hamfest calendar, then have a script to search APRS-IS for the HFEST objet and if missing, find the nearest 10 APRS (2-way) stations and then send them an automated message asking them why the hell they aren't putting out the local hamfest object...

It could also query QRZ or whatever to send them an Email too!
