It might not be too unfeasible if you had a high update rate gps (5 or 10
hits a second), and the tracker would report max speed upon deceleration.
Kinda like a balloon tracker can change paths upon decent.  Have the tracker
send max speed when you are <30mph.

Scott traps altitude for use in scipts on the T2, what about speed?
