Sick and twisted idea of the day:

Kindle for hams:

An AVR (or pic if you must) processor, with a little beeper attached,
beeping out your novel in morse...

This isn't as farfetched as it sounds.  There are 8 pin processors with
enough code space to hold an ASCII text file of novel length.
