The buffer of that built in tnc is small, and, the software won't do
the "new paradigm" stuff.
Also, most all of the Japanese radios are intended for home or mobile
use - not at a site, which has a much higher concentration of other
radios and RF.
Do not put Japanese radios at sites. The convenience of "dc todaylight"
recievers dooms them to low performance. Also, they are typically not
built for high duty cycle transmit. Use a converted commercial "real"
radio. You should run a circulator on the output, to be a "good
neighbor" at the site. Use a real antenna, not some Comet thingey.
Install it with real commercial hardware, not chromed potted metal. Use
rigid feedline, even on short runs, not coax. Never use SuperFlex (tm)
for anything except inside, in-cabinet jumpers.
All of the above will have you in the "good guy" status with site owners.
