A little "off topic".

But how should the packet be translated if a "higher digi" hears 
WIDE1-1,WIDE2-1

1: DIGI,WIDE1*,WIDE2-1
2: DIGI*,WIDE2-1

I would say #2 but maybe i'm wrong.
