At least we're getting somewhere. So long as _everyone_ understands that
it's Johnny's right to take his ball and go home. That's fine. That's all
I've ever argued. We can all call Johnny names when he leaves the field.
But it's his ball, he can do with it as he likes. And you have the right
to go to your house and build/buy a ball of your own and bring it back for
everyone to play with. Yelling at Johnny and calling him names doesn't do
any good. Standing on the playground crying and yelling "why..oh why is
Johnny being so mean?" doesn't do any good. Life sucks. Go get your own
ball.
What drives me batty is the entitlement mentality that since someone used
it for "free" they are somehow entitled to use it for "free" forever. It's
Johnny's ball..if he says you can't play with it anymore..tough.
