Bummer. I cant fix it, but I took one of mine like that apart and removed the connector. SOldered a piece of coax and brought it out the hole. Then made a brief-case portable APRS/Packet station with the coax going to a BNC on top of the case.
The HT is no longer useable as an HT, but makes a great portable package, ready to go. with an old 486 laptop running APRSdos.
With a speaker mike, its even bettter.
BUT! One thing to remember, it does not work well with a rubber duck just stck on the connector. With an external power cord (and/or serial cord) plugged into the D7, it picks up all kinds of RFI and so you have to remote the antenna at least 10 feet away to get back to decent hearing.
