Amen!

I ran some code against the Xastir sources a few times that counts
lines of actual code, categorizes them by language, and then
estimates how much the code would be worth if using paid
programmers. It's absolutely amazing what numbers it comes up with!

As far as Dale: He did warn us many months ago that it was going to
be shut down but didn't do it at the time. We knew it needed to be
replaced, hopefully with a parallel system for redundancy, but
nobody did anything about it. We kept relying on Dale's server.

Hopefully someone will hear from Dale soon and we'll find out if
this outage is temporary or permanent. In any case the system will
be better by the time we do, whatever the outcome.

Thank you Dale, whatever the result is! You've provided an
extremely valuable service for some time. I hope the service
continues, but if it doesn't, you've shown us how it could be done.

Thanks to you too Steve! I've enjoyed the findu service for way too
many years now. It's been one of the more stable services. For a
number of years was the ONLY one of it's type to be had.
