[aprssig] Gating Objects from Internet to RF

Pete, (cc: aprssig for format comments also)...

Here's a few samples of the packets I'm formatting. Is the node number
embedded in the EL-123456 object name sufficient or should it also
appear in plain text in the comment? I am still planning to use the
node's callsign as the FromCall and put my callsign in as the first
(used) path. APRS-IS will insert the qXX with my gating callsign as
well. Or should I put my call as the FromCall and remove it from the
used path? I'm not actually mastering the data but passing it through
from an external source ultimately mastered at the node itself.

I'm also thinking about removing the redundant frequency spec from the
comment text to shorten the packets, but I really wanted to keep the
location description as created by the node itself.

I just ran these through my own APRS parser and they failed, but I can
resolve that. Do I need a space between PHG and the Frequency? It
seems that since I'm using a 4 digit PHG, I'll need something for the
parsers to know where it ends and the Frequency begins.

The EL- format was used in the past for Echolink stations and I recommend keeping it to that prior agreement. The only objects generated should be for links and repeaters and should include the node number in the comment (since RF-based stations must use the node number to connect).
