[aprssig] Somewhat OT - Seeking Ham-friendly mobilecell banlegislation?

The politics aside (true as they may be), I'd like to thank everyone that
responded.

One of our Legislators (Utah) is pushing a bill to restrict cell phone use,
but it was written as any two-way radio commo. I submitted some options
based on other similar legislation which exempts ham radio systems.

I have been told that based on who the legislator is that proposed it, it
won't go anywhere. But you never know.

After all, we have to be protected from ourselves until our reliance to the
State is absolute.

Thanks again to all that replied.
