    Thanks, Hessu.  I was tracking the Ruby Princess for several hours 
this morning at 
<http://marinetraffic.com/ais/default.aspx?mmsi=310567000&centerx=-82.62944&centery=23.48922&zoom=10&type_color=6> 
but the ship seems to have disappeared -- I suspect it is simply out of 
range of any AIS receive site -- AIS being on VHF, that seems quite 
possible, but I'm not sure if the ship should "fall off the page" when 
the last posit is too old or what.  Guess I'll watch for a while and see 
what happens.

    I wonder if there's a way to show these ships on UI-View...
