IIRC it's 2A.

Yeah, but that hardware mod (the Microchip microcontroller watchdog
version) isn't all that hard, except for trying to get the $#%^$%
lead-free solder to melt.

Agreed, it's just really a bummer to require AC power, and it appears
to only have one USB port?

Definitely a nice entry into the field.
