Despite what others have written about Belkin:
I have a Belkin USB > < Serial adaptor, and it works perfectly.
Never had any problems with it, and I use it with a Mac (supposedly MORE
trouble to get things to work with).
Just my 2c worth, but mine works fine, and anything Belkin makes has a
LIFETIME warranty.
Had mine for years, and it still works fine.
