[aprssig] How to identify receivers on multi-receiver site?

Presume a setup where we have 10 receivers with 4 element yagis pointing
around the horizon (like on top of a big building), and one transmitter
above them. Do that on 2m and 70cm, and use same callsign on the igate/digi
for all parts of it. Now you see why we want to have expanded code space
for "SSID".

Digipeating would use real AX.25 transmitter callsigns, like:

     OH1xxx>APRS,OH2XYZ-6*,WIDE2-1: .. packet ..
     OH1xxx>APRS,OH2XYZ-2*,WIDE2-1: .. packet ..
     OH1xxx>APRS,OH2XYZ-7*,WIDE2-1: .. packet ..

Could I Rx-IGate packets with callsigns like:

     OH1xxx>APRS,...,qAR,OH2XYZ-V0: .. packet ..
     OH1xxx>APRS,...,qAR,OH2XYZ-V1: .. packet ..
     OH1xxx>APRS,...,qAR,OH2XYZ-V2: .. packet ..
        ....
     OH1xxx>APRS,...,qAR,OH2XYZ-V9: .. packet ..
     OH1xxx>APRS,...,qAR,OH2XYZ-VA: .. packet ..
        ....
     OH1xxx>APRS,...,qAR,OH2XYZ-VZ: .. packet ..

     OH1xxx>APRS,...,qAR,OH2XYZ-U0: .. packet ..
        ....

These do work on APRSIS, but is it bending the spec too far?
Will it become a prezel, or break? What will break? Is breaking
of X (for a given value of X) a reason of not to use these?

PS: So far we plan for only 1 to 3 receivers for each Tx, but
I prefer to have my expansion plan prepared from start.
