K6SOA is a D-Star repeater system. It is made up of 4 repeaters colocated
in one facility. It's no surprise then that your will see 4 objects each
giving specific informations about the 4 individual repeaters:
K6SOA-S>APJID2,TCPIP*,qAC,K6SOA-GS:;K6SOA A *142031z3333.00ND11745.30WaRNG0060 1.2 Voice 1282.600 -12MHz
K6SOA-S>APJID2,TCPIP*,qAC,K6SOA-GS:;K6SOA AD*202017z3333.00ND11745.30WaRNG0060 1.2 Data 1299.900
K6SOA-S>APJID2,TCPIP*,qAC,K6SOA-GS:;K6SOA B *180247z3333.00ND11745.30WaRNG0060 440 Voice 445.660 +5MHz
K6SOA-S>APJID2,TCPIP*,qAC,K6SOA-GS:;K6SOA C *191208z3333.00ND11745.30WaRNG0060 2m Voice 146.115 +0.600 MHz
The purpose of these objects is two fold: 1) it provides indication as to
the health of the system and 2) it provides valuable information to
potential users regarding location and frequency.
Almost all D-Star systems connected to the Internet are doing the same.
Hope that will help.
