I can if and only if it is limited to a single space, or at least  
multiple spaces are collapsed to a single space, as is done in html  
documents. In other words either "K4HG    A" would be illegal, or else  
the same as "K4HG A".

This is something I would insist upon, having "K4HG" and "K4HG    "  
being two different things is unacceptable.
