Here is an article pertaining to a tracking system used in Norfolk England.

The highlight of the article is that they are not only locating vehicles,
but HT's, and the display system can filter the display of all officers by
skill set.

On a side note, when we use xastir to track folks for the SCSG, I created a
revised symbol set that shows rank insignia.
