[aprssig] APRS needs...

I guess it's a matter of personal preference, but I'd consider the D7 to
be the least ergonomic radio I've used in a long time. My old Yaesu
FT-203R fits in the hand better than the D7 does. It can also be used
as a bludgeon, if necessary. =]
