I ran into that, too.  When I was coming up with a scheme to enter the 
CW ID, I figured I'd start with the standard DTMF alphabet layout - only 
to realize that 3 out of the 4 radios on my desk didn't have the letters 
on them at all.  I think only the TH-D7A did.

Oops... forgot about the IC-T2H.  Make that 4 out of 5 with no letters.
