Around Oshkosh are several N numbers.  Most had ID's in a status,
but not all.  One had a status with MT8000 - isn't that what that
last aircraft bootlegger was using?

Findu raw packets not working for me this AM, so I can't see it there
are status's with an ID.  I may not understand wnough yet to read
the packets correctly

Perhaps someone is marketing those things to pilots ? ?

MYCALL of "SKY1" is on the field still -  a place to start.

The one MT8000 that I saw  Mic-E & no call:

Position of N996PJ --- 5.2 miles southwest of Oshkosh, WI
 --- Report received  1 days 17 hours 58 minutes 10 seconds ago

Status: MT8000FA v1.0  Course: 359.0   Speed: 87.5 MPH
   Altitude: 1121 feet
    Mic-E message 1, En Route

Raw packet:  N996PJ>TS5W0P,W9LTA-10,WIDE1*,WIDE2-1,qAR,AA9NV-10:`t=Cs_W'/"7\}

Gotta run now.  Bicycle club ride waiting.
