Hi,
Max and myself have been trying to sort out 2 things that appear to
be wrong within AGWDigi
over the last few weeks this has driven both Max and myself around several
corners and added a few
more grey hairs.
1/ No pathing data is passed by AWGDigi it appears to be stripped out
2/ Fixed Digis passing via AGWDigi don't get recognized by some data bases (
DB0ANF)
What we have found is :
That AGWDigi appears to strip out the raw data.
Below AGWtracker / AGWDigi there is no data that has been broadcast via RF
The received path via RF is always TCPIP*
Eg: TCPIP*= AGWDigi

Max (ZL2MAX) turned AGWDigi off ran Ui-View as a Digi and all the raw data
and pathing became available and is viewable all stations passed via here
showed all pathing data etc

Why does this happen is it hard coded into AGWDigi to do this or can you
change it so it shows all the data, if this
is possible where do you change it ?
This data stripping is a pain when you are trying to debug things and see
how data has arrived at a given place,
replacing all the TX data with TCPIP is not a good thing nothing should be
stripped from the TX data.
Also AGWDigi, doesn't show up on some servers as a digi ( DB0ANF site )
wouldn't post ZL2KO-1 as a digi yet now that AGWDigi
has been taken out and replaced with Ui-View ZL2KO-1 appears as a digi on
DB0ANFs site
