The GPS bearing is not necessarily the direction that the camera is
pointing. If the camera was, say, fixed looking out the front of a car or
aircraft, they'd be the same. If the camera was dangling underneath a
balloon, though, they're not...
Also, some GPS receivers lose sense of heading when they aren't moving, and
even those that do work are 180 degrees off if you happen to be traveling in
reverse.
