I think it safe to say "EMERGENCY" is known even in Europe as something
to take note of.  I'm not sure if "SOS" would stand out just as well on
for example a D7 display.

I remember the episode about the nose bleeds, I believe I may have been
one of those who recommended a trip to the medics.  As he's got a mobile
phone with him (his beacon quotes the number!)  Quite why he wants to
use APRS for such a call, I havent a clue!
