Keith, I was referring to the change to not use the STATE in WAn-n, but
instead to use SSn-n. That was the change Bob announced today that I was
referring to. Just for clarification.
Mike

Bob - any comments on www.nwaprs.info/widen-n.htm ?

The page does include a link to
http://www.ew.usna.edu/~bruninga/localinfo.html "for more info".

The example on the NWAPRS site has...

;FFF.FFF+x*111111zDDMM.mmN/DDDMM.mmWrAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBB88888888....

and on your "local info page" it has...

;FFF.FFF+x*111111zDDMM.hhN/DDDMM.hhWrAAAAAAAAAABBBBBBBBBBCCCCCCCC....

Quite frankly, I can't see the difference, but if Mike says they are
different, they must be different - hi!
