No, just reinforcement that the rather idealistic "many eyes" wiki  
model that assumes a completely open wiki can work doesn't work out  
that well in many real-world instances.

A wiki package with the right tools and right configuration is a very  
valuable, easy to use tool for collaborative documentation, and I  
think that's the only model that will result in a single go-to  
resource for APRS.  There are too many aspects of APRS for a single  
author web page to work, yet not enough to result in a commercial  
enterprise (like a book that gets updated with reasonable frequency).
