[aprssig] Great Plains Super Launch - July 6/7, 2007

The seventh annual Great Plains Super Launch will be held in Grand Island, Nebraska, on July 6 and 7, 2007.  This gathering of amateur radio high altitude balloon enthusiasts will feature a launch of around 10 APRS-equipped balloons on Saturday morning at around 8am CDT (1300 UTC).

In addition to APRS, the flights will include ATV, simplex repeaters, CW/voice beacons, and possibly SSTV.  Frequencies from 20m to 2.4 GHz will be in use.  A PSK31 beacon will be on 14.065 MHz, so distant reception reports are encouraged.  We hope to have Igate coverage for all three 2m APRS frequencies.
