    The big deal is that this is 2007, not 1907 or 1947. 

    The ridiculous thing is that some people want us to act as if we are 
still using 100 or 50 year old equipment.  Guess what?  We're not. 

    Using mixed case is demonstrably easier to read.  That's why we 
don't print our books using all upper case.  And why the only places 
you'll find people using all upper case are when net newbies type 
messages after apparently being incapable of turning CAPS LOCK off, of 
from guys who haven't quite accepted that we're living in the 21st 
Century, and want everything to be as bad as it was when *they* were 
young and had to hand-blow their own 6L6's from beach sand.
