You knew I couldn't resist..

A reminder during holiday travels to watch for those local frequency objects and give a call on the local frequency when you see one.  A great way to locate some other APRS types or fellow hams.

Conversly, if you drive into new areas and do not see the local frequency object, then find a local repeater and ask why not?  Maybe they have not heard of his great new facet of ham radio.

During my 1600 mile round trip from the North, (Maryland to Alabama and back), I will be taking notes on who's naughty and nice.

Oh, and what holiday would be complete without the reminder to enable your Voice Alert on the open road.  Maybe we will pass each other!  Volume up, CTCSS 100 on 144.39.
