No.     Due to the density of operation and congestion in many areas 
here, the objective is only two hops total. Thus, one hop via either a 
home station or mountain top (WIDE1-1), and then only one more hop via a 
"real" digipeater (WIDE2-1).    

[Both home stations and mountaintops respond to "WIDE1-n" for the first 
hop, while ONLY mountaintops respond to WIDE2-n for the second hop. ]
