Thanks for the replies.  Scott, your Opentracker looks interesting.  The
DB9 "Y" cable you mentioned, is it home brew also?  Ok on the diode on
the Opentracker, but what about the existing tnc sensing the Opentracker
keying the radio?

Do you want the telemetry and digi to be the same device?  My Tracker2
will
do that, but it's not in regular production yet.

The OpenTracker will give you temperature and voltage telemetry.  With a
little tweaking, you can share a single radio for the existing TNC and
the
OpenTracker.  I'm doing just that in my garage, where I've got a radio
shared between two trackers and a TNC.  I just use DB9 'Y' cables to
connect
them, and I think I had to replace one diode with a jumper to get the
OpenTrackers to detect when the radio is in use by one of the other
devices.
