Yea, I'm using one of their serial adapters from
http://www.pc-mobile.net/pdaserial.htm on my iPaq 2215. Basically just a 4
inch cable with a one side going to the dock port on the pda and the other
end having a 9pin male serial connector along with a power plug to accept
12V power to keep it charged/powered from an adapter at the same time.
As far as I know though there is no longer support for APRS/CE and thus no
more activations so you have to enter your station information each time.
But has worked well here over RF as well as connecting to internet feed
through cell phone connection.... with the exception of lack of
local/detailed maps.
