Subject: [aprssig] Need help with opentracker
Gudday
Need some help. A friend left me a pocket tracker when he passed on.
It works, And is on 145.175 MHz and I am therefore assuming it is the
frequency agile version and he has programmed it up.
It has his call sign in it and it sends packet fine.
I am trying to re-configure the tinytrak part of the pockettracker.
I see on my CRO, data going to pin 2 on the PIC socket when I run
TinyTrak config for version 3.
Any suggestions ? Do I have a dud PIC ?
Jumper settings are -
ON (for the ON / OFF jumper)
FS - "9"
Test is out (ie no PTT)
LED's is "IN"
http://www.byonics.com/pockettracker/ptfa.php
When I power it up it flashes "GREEN GREEN" "RED"
I have done a serial loopback on the socket for the PIC - works
I have swapped my wires on the serial just in case I made a mistake.
Any help me with a "how to" on this pockettracker please ?
The PIC is 16F628A and the board says "HiValue Radio" 2004
