   That's not always true.... yes it's best to separate the antennas
properly but I know that my trimble (active) antenna on my work vehicle is
10 inches away from my 35 watt 800Mhz radio modem gain antenna. GPS
dosen't loose lock when the modem is transmitting. I was using the trimble
config program wantching the satllites while I was doing querries (modem
transmitting) on the MDC as a test. Of course I wouldn't mount antennas
like this... the city radio shop did. One day the GPS will probably blow
up from the RF!
