I'm 60km (40 miles) from our region's main hilltop digi and have a
number of hills and valleys in my locality. Digi_ned is used here at
home on a part-time basis as a fill-in digi to cater for travellers
passing through, so it really only needs to respond to mobiles up to
say 20km away from me, yet it is not uncommon for mobiles on the hills
near the digi to get digipeated by myself and other RELAYS, adding
more clutter to the channel even though I have Persist=255 and
Slottime=0.

So in addition to Bill's wish for only distant stations to be
digipeated, I would be delighted to be able to only digipeat stations
closer than a specified range.

Maybe this would also be helpful in central-city fill-in digis which
might be sited on a tall building, yet should only be responding to
mobiles within say 10km?
