Check out *_M_otorcycling _A_mateur _R_adio _C_lub, also the *Bay Area 
MARC <http://www.ba-marc.org>.  These guys have been putting radios on 
bikes for years.  Lots of ideas & info.

I have a Mitrek in the trunk fed by a KPC-3P & a Rand McNally gps
